SERVICES

We provide outpatient psychotherapy and medication management for adolescents and adults. We practice within a psychodynamic orientation. We provide telepsychiatry exclusively.

Consultation
-
The consultation period ranges 1 to 4 sessions.

This period helps determine whether our approach and style at Reverie is a good fit for your treatment.

If Reverie is not a good fit, we will provide a referral to another provider/clinic.

We will not prescribe medications until we decide to continue work beyond the consultation period.

Please review and complete new intake forms before your first appointment.

Follow-up Treatment
-
In general, appointments are on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.

Appointments are generally 45 minutes.

Medication management appointments are monthly.

CANCELLATION POLICY
-
There is no cancellation fee if cancelling with 2 or more business days notice.

If you cancel within 2 business days, you will be charged a $150 fee for follow-up visits or a $200 fee for new patient visits.

If you do not present for a scheduled appointment (“no show”), you will be charged the full appointment fee ($225 for follow-up and $300 for new patient visit)

Note that insurance will not reimburse cancellation/no-show fees.

We will not schedule a follow-up appointment until the cancellation fee is paid.

CRISIS
-
If you are currently experiencing a behavioral health emergency, DO NOT call or message us. We may be with another client and unable to respond.

In the case of a crisis, do one of the following:

Report to your nearest emergency room

PAYMENT
-
Payment is due at the time of service

We accept most commercial Highmark/BCBS and UPMC policies.

We do not accept Medicare/Medicaid products, including UPMC for You/for Life.

For all other policies, we are considered out-of-network. We can provide you with appropriate documentation (a "superbill") if you would like to file for out-of-network benefits through your insurance.
- For those paying out of pocket or using out of network benefits:

Initial visit (60 min): $300

Follow-up visits (45 min): $225
-
Payment is due in full at time of service.

Credit card is the only form of payment accepted at this time. You are required to put a card on file at time of scheduling your first appointment.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES/FEES

Notify us 5 business days in advance of needing a medication refill.

Same day refill requests will incur a $25 fee.

Phone calls, forms, reports, and other paperwork that require more than 5 minutes to complete will be billed at our prorated hourly rate of $300.
-
A $25 fee will apply for preparation of medical records.
TREATMENT POLICY

Medications will not be adjusted over the phone.
-
We do not prescribe medical marijuana or high-dose benzodiazepines.
-
We use stimulants when clinically indicated.
-
We may require neuropsychological testing before starting a stimulant.

We do not do disability, custody, forensic, or emotional support animal evaluations.
