MONIQUE SIMPSON, MD
I am dual board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) in Adult Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. I work collaboratively with my patients to develop evidence-based treatment plans that empower them with skills beyond medication. Our work together may include medication management, therapy, environmental interventions and behavior/lifestyle changes. I have particular expertise in treating patients with anxiety, OCD, depression and other mood disorders. My goal is to foster a recovery-oriented environment through compassionate, nonjudgmental care. I am deeply invested in providing psychiatric care for diverse populations, drawing from my own experience of moving to the United States to pursue higher education. This journey has given me the lived-experience of adapting to a new culture and helped instill a dedication to providing culturally informed care to all patients. a
